Nelson Faria is one of the most acclaimed and respected guitar players nowadays in Brazil. His style brings a lot of Brazilian Popular Music, as much as Jazz, Bossa Nova and other Brazilian styles.
 
Nelson studied at the Musicians Institute in California, with teachers like Frank Gambale, Ted Greene, Scott Henderson, Joe Pass among others. He has worked with great names of International music like Nana Cayimmi, Zelia Duncan, Cássia Eller, Edu Lobo and Milton Nascimento.

Nelson Faria was always dedicated to teaching, writing several books, as teacher at music at Örebro Universitet, Ingesund Universitet, KMH and in his own website (Fica a Dica Premium). He also has a successful internet show (Um Café Lá em Casa) with over 300 thousand subscribers.
