From the Amazon to the world, Lucio Vieira is one of the most requested Drummers by many artists, from pop to jazz/fusion. 
 
In Brazil, Lucio had two teachers in his home town that helped him to shape his craft, they were Voulner Sá and Afrânio Girão. 
 
After moving to Rio de Janeiro, he had the opportunity to have classes with renowned drummers such as Pascoal Meirelles, Erivelton Silva, Márcio Bahia, Cuca Teixeira, Kiko Freitas, Christiaan Oyens among others 
 
In Rio de Janeiro, his career started to earn recognition after several live performances and recording sessions with famous artists like Gilberto Gil, Rita Ribeiro, Maria Bethânia, Elba Ramalho, Dominguinhos, Wagner Tiso,  Roberto Menescal, Zélia Duncan among others. He also performed with great names of Contemporary Jazz like Cliff Korman, Larry Coryell, Allen Hinds, Frank Gambale, Bill Cantos, Kleber Jorge, Rique Pantoja, Mitchell Long, Kenya Ashby and others.
 
After moving to the US, continuing the love for more knowledge, he had the opportunity to have classes with world wide renowned drummers, including William Kennedy, Peter Erskine, Keith Carlock and Dave Weckl. 
 
Lucio is best known for his all around drumming, and easy switch to all kinds of music and for his large experience in live and studio performances. For this reason, “Cinematic Drumming” became one of his expertises. He specialized in recording cinematic drums for soundtracks and now presents this one of a kind pack, completely played with brushes.
